Good News! ARHK Obtains Providing Credit Rating Services License (Type 10) Issued by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission

On November 26, 2024, Anrong (Hong Kong) Credit Ratings Co., Ltd. (referred to as "ARHK") obtained the Providing Credit Rating Services License (Type 10)  issued by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission. This achievement marks a significant milestone in Anrong Ratings' development, representing a crucial step in its "internationalization strategy." It signifies Anrong Ratings' elevation from one of China's eight major authoritative rating agencies to becoming one of the eight leading international rating agencies.

As Anrong Ratings' first overseas subsidiary, Anrong Hong Kong will offer independent, objective, fair, consistent, and prudent credit rating services to governments, institutions, and enterprises both domestically and internationally. In the grand trend of transforming "USD Pricing Power" into "RMB Discourse Power," it strives to enhance the voice and influence of Chinese rating agencies in the international capital market.

Hong Kong serves as a pivotal hub for bond issuance in Asia. In 2023, nearly 90 billion USD worth of Asian international bonds were arranged and issued in Hong Kong, accounting for about a quarter of the market. As of November 18, 2024, the issuance of Hong Kong Dim Sum Bonds had reached RMB 686.585 billion, showing a substantial year-on-year growth of 174.35%.
