Anrong Ratings Honors Outstanding Contributors to Hong Kong Credit Rating License Application

On December 12th, 2024, Anrong Credit Rating Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Anrong Ratings”) held a commendation ceremony in Beijing to honor individuals who made outstanding contributions to the Hong Kong credit rating license application. Attendees included Gu Jin, Chairman of the Supervisory Board; Lu Dan and Zhou Gongping, Directors of Anrong Ratings; and Hu Chao, Director of AnRong (Hong Kong) Credit Ratings Co., Ltd (ARHK).

The Commendation Ceremony

First, Lu Dan, Director and President of Anrong Ratings, briefly reviewed the challenging journey the company undertook to obtain the Hong Kong credit rating license. She congratulated ARHK on successfully obtaining the financial (Credit Rating) license issued by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission and expressed gratitude to all participants involved in the license application process. She mentioned that ARHK, the subsidiary of Anrong Ratings, obtaining the Type 10 Financial (Credit Rating) License issued by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission marks a significant milestone in the company’s development. It represents a major step forward in implementing Anrong Ratings’ “internationalization strategy” and signifies the company’s advancement from one of China’s top eight mainstream authoritative rating institutions to becoming one of the world’s top eight mainstream authoritative rating institutions.

Subsequently, President Lu Dan announced the “Notice on Commending Individuals Who Made Outstanding Contributions to the Hong Kong Credit Rating License Application.” Gu Jin, Chairman of the Supervisory Board; Lu Dan, President of Anrong Ratings; and Hu Chao, Director of ARHK, presented awards to the individuals recognized for their remarkable contributions to the license application process.

Finally, Hu Chao, Director/RO of ARHK, stated that the ARHK team will take today as a new starting point and strictly adhere to international rating laws and regulations. ARHK is committed to providing professional credit rating services to domestic and overseas governments, institutions, and enterprises for bond issuance in overseas markets. The team will work together with other Anrong Ratings teams to build an even brighter future for the company.

This meeting was hosted by Wang Shichao, General Manager of the Human Resources Department. All members of the executive team in Beijing, department heads and above based in Beijing, as well as award-winning employee representatives, attended the meeting in person, while department and branch office heads outside Beijing participated online.
