A Warm Winter Season of Renewal, Anrong Sets Sail Again—Anrong Ratings’ 10th Anniversary Ice & Snow-Themed Team-Building Event Concludes Successfully

On January 10, Beijing’s Jingzhihu Ski Resort was blanketed in snow and filled with warmth in the afternoon as Anrong Credit Rating Co., Ltd. grandly hosted its “A Warm Winter Season of Renewal, Anrong Sets Sail Again—Anrong Ratings’ 10th Anniversary Ice & Snow-Themed Team-Building Event” here. More than 180 Anrong colleagues from the Beijing headquarters, branches (offices) across the country, and the Hong Kong subsidiary gathered together. With ice and snow as the medium and competition as the bridge, they strengthened team cohesion amid laughter and celebration, jointly honouring the company’s decade of achievements and injecting momentum for the next journey.

This team-building event thoughtfully adopted a grouped competition format featuring four major contingents and 16 teams, deeply integrating fun interaction with teamwork. Five signature events were launched: Snow Dragon Boat, Snow Bumper Ball, Snow Curling, Crazy Sled, and Snow Tug-of-War. Each event not only showcased the unique charm of ice-and-snow sports but also carried profound team-building significance, enabling all employees to enhance rapport and temper their will through immersive experiences.

Snow Dragon Boat: United in Purpose, Moving Forward Together. Unlike traditional dragon boat racing on water, Snow Dragon Boat uses a wooden “dragon boat” on snow, requiring four teammates to paddle in sync with snow paddles and sprint toward the finish line across soft snow. The event tests not only physical stamina but also places extremely high demands on team rhythm, control, and the synchronised execution of commands. During the race, team members chanted slogans in unison, their steps and movements tightly aligned, pressing forward bravely even as snow sprayed into the air. This event vividly illustrated the truth that “alone you go fast, together you go far,” helping everyone deeply realise that only with shared goals and coordinated pace can a team break through challenges—just as Anrong’s ten-year development has always relied on all employees moving forward with one heart and in one direction.

Snow Bumper Ball: Unleash Energy, Break the Ice and Blend In. Putting on inflatable bumper balls, teammates instantly turned into “snow roly-polies,” colliding, dodging, and manoeuvring within a designated area, filling the scene with nonstop laughter and high energy. This event broke down barriers between departments and regions, allowing colleagues who are usually busy at work to set aside reserve, release stress, and close the distance through lighthearted, fun competition. The tacit dodges during collisions and the helping hands after falls not only strengthened emotional bonds among cross-team members but also cultivated everyone’s ability to respond quickly amid dynamic changes, laying an emotional foundation for subsequent cross-regional and cross-department collaboration.

Snow Curling: Strategise Well, Collaborate Precisely. As a “gentleman’s sport,” Snow Curling may shed the rigour of professional ice, but it retains match strategy, target setting for throwers, control of strength and distance, and the risk-awareness of the “skip.” Team members need a clear division of roles, and every throw requires accurate judgment based on the field conditions and team tactics. This event perfectly aligns with the professional traits of the credit rating industry—“rigorous, meticulous, and precise assessment”—allowing everyone to appreciate the importance of “planning before acting” through enjoyable competition, while enhancing integrated planning and efficient collaboration through tactical discussions and coordinated execution.

Crazy Sledge: Dare to Charge, Unite to Break Through. The Crazy Sledge event was conducted as a team relay. Team members had to work together to transport a teammate on the sledge for a round-trip, maintaining speed while ensuring safe sliding. During the race, each team rationally assigned roles of pullers, riders, and protectors, racing against the clock. It not only showcased Anrong people’s spirit of daring to take on challenges and pushing forward with grit, but also helped everyone deeply recognise that when facing difficulties and challenges, only with a clear division of labour and complementary strengths—improving efficiency while controlling risk—can a team forge powerful synergy to overcome obstacles and achieve goals efficiently.

Snow Tug-of-War: Of One Heart and Mind, United as One. As the finale, the snow tug-of-war showdown among the four major contingents brought the entire team-building event to a climax. On both ends of the rope, team members gripped tightly, braced their feet in the snow, leaned back, and fought with all their might amid waves of cheering and chanting. The slippery snow increased the difficulty, but it tested the team’s wisdom and cohesion all the more. Every team tried every possible way to overcome the challenge of unstable footing on ice and snow, demonstrating resilient character—never giving up, never backing down. Cheers and applause rose and fell, blending into a moving symphony of unity and progress. This event vividly displayed the Anrong spirit of solidarity and striving to lead, affirming the profound truth that unity is strength and perseverance brings victory.

After multiple rounds of fierce competition, the event ultimately produced first, second, and third prizes. The winning teams shouted their slogans, and teammates from all corners of the country high-fived in celebration, with pride and joy shining on every face—adding even more glory to this ice-and-snow feast.
